Founded in 2015 by Berene Sauls, Tesselaarsdal Wines honours the historic Overberg hamlet where she was born. From her beginnings at Hamilton Russell Vineyards to owning her own label, Berene’s journey reflects resilience, heritage, and a passion for fine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Tesselaarsdal is acclaimed for small-production, classically styled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay crafted with meticulous care. With winemaker Emul Ross and the Hamilton Russell team, Berene produces wines of purity, elegance, and a distinct sense of place—deeply connected to the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.
