Southern Right is situated on a beautiful property in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley on the western border of Hamilton Russell Vineyards.

It is the first property you reach as you enter this celebrated valley from Hermanus. From the large nature reserve at the top of Southern Right you can overlook Walker Bay and even see Southern Right whales in the ocean.

Who

Southern Right was founded as a Pinotage and Sauvignon blanc specialist in 1994 by Anthony Hamilton Russell. For over 25 years, Southern Right has produced a single internationally celebrated Pinotage and a single unusually successful Sauvignon blanc.

Offerings

The property has a distinct old farm in the "Overberg" feel to it, from the design of the cellar to the older structures which remain, including an architecturally unique old brick kiln.

There is a large and ecologically highly significant reserve of indigenous fynbos overlooking Walker Bay, which runs the length of the property.
